Default hfs4 and megasquirt

i have final made the jump and will be adding water meth to my setup.
1990 vw corrado with a 2l16vt motor
1000cc rc injectors
gt3582r
ms2 3.57 board
car made 490whp at 20psi
i want to be able to turn it up to 30+ depending if inj have enough

i will be doing 2 .9mm jets one directly after the turbo outlet and one directly after IC. i have air to water intercooler and only have about 24" of boost pipe. the outlet of IC is connected to the TB with silicon connector.

basic wiring is no issue the issue im having is making the correct modifications to the HFS-4 controller. if i need any.

1) is the map seneor input the ECU has a 4bar map 0v=3.5kpa-5v=416kpa
(http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...ion-p-117.html)
2) not sure where to get the map signal from sense the sensor is internal in ECU.
3)waste gate fail safe for electronic boost control. to go to gate pressure on meth turning off or begin interrupted. i have a gizmo ms-ibc uses mac valve. im reading using the brown and white wires on gray harness to just splice one of the wires going to the mac valve?

1. It appeared the sensor is has an 0-5V output (pin 4):

2. Cut the pulsed wire from the MS to the MAC.

but how will the controller react since my map sensor is 4 bar. should i still use the 3.5 bar map in the hfs4?

Yes, 3.5 bar should be used.

There is just a minor shift at the "THRES" setting. If you are not using boost as trigger, it does not make any difference.

i have gotten everything wired and was testing. and as soon as i turn the key on the HFS goes through boot cycle then just starts spraying full flow. its acting like the INJ duty cycle is at 100% even though i havnt even started the motor yet. i pulled 12v power from the same source the ECU gets power and wired to the inj neg- for bank 1 inj.

Can you wire the red and green of the grey harness directly to the fuel injector and let me know.

Moved power to same power as inj. Now in on position hfs comes on with priming pulse and then turns off. willard further test next week once manifold is back from welder and can start the motor.

Did you have the fuel injector in circuit when you did the tests? If you don't you will get weird results.
