Default wiring problem

Well I finally got all the wiring finished yesterday.Only getting the yellow, water level light.I got out the volt meter and checked that the two power sources were getting 12v.Sure enough in the second position on the ignition switch, I was seeing 12v on both.I could us a pin in the back of the four pin plug to check for voltage, but I had to trace the RJ48's red power wire back to its source. Both show voltage. On the four pin plug, I took both ends of the black and white wires together, and put them in a crimp connector. This connector was put on a bolt on the chassis.
So everything is connected as it should be.Any ideas what else to check?

Thanks, Philip

The system will not power up for the first time if the tank level sensor detected a close-circuit (tank empty=lever in horizontal position).

You can unplug the sensor and let me know.
