Subaru EJ 20T
Hello it is my first post here and sorry if i do any mistakes
I am owning a subaru sti 2004 EUDM model. Some of my modifications are 2,2lt Brian Crower stroker kit. ATP 3071 bolt on turbo 850 cc Power enterprize injectors APS top mount I/C OEM ECU. My car is my everyday day car and i am using 100octane gas. In the area where i live (Greece) my topmount I/C is not enough for my engine power (472 hp), but i dont want to change to a FMI/C. If i use water injection(i am planning to buy the HFS6) is it possible to have some more reliable power (especialy in the summer because of less detonation)? If yes ,i should use 2 injectors(which size) after my turbo and before my I/C?, or one injector should be at the output of the I/C?. If i later change to a water/methanol setup do i have to change the postion of my injectors? Thanks in advance! |

Re: Subaru EJ 20T
I believe you can run the following set up with the HFS-6:
1. Water two smaller jet will be enough, (0.4mm + 0.5mm) 2. W50:M50 two jets and a mild tune (0.5mm + 0.7mm) 3. 100% methanol two largest jet, a more aggressive tune. (0.5mm + 1mm) I think you should start with "1", good safety and no tune is necesary. The HFS-6 is very flexible, as long as you use a slightly larger jet, they you can reduce the flow electronically. One small jet before the IC and a bigger one after the IC.

Re: Subaru EJ 20T
Thanks a lot for the quick response!
If i use the smaller jets (0,4mm+0,5mm) only for waterinjection,to get some extra power, do i need to retune a litlebit more agressive ? |
