This diagram can be used for the HFS3 also.

Re: Nissan skyline wiring diagrams to HFS-3
Thanks for the diagrams Richard.
Have shown the diagrams to r33/r34 owner and unfortunately pin 25 cannot work as a boost cut. In order to have boost cut you will need to ground an aftermarket boost controller just like in the r32. Thanks |

Re: Nissan skyline wiring diagrams to HFS-3
This is a shame.
Doesn't the the R33/34 ECU control the boost via a solenoid valve?

"The standard R33 RB25DET boost solenoid (value controller) is 5psi until rpm is greater than 4500rpm and then its 7-8psi. Continue reading if you wish to always be in high mode (7-8psi). If you have an aftermarket boost controller then you can stop reading now. The standard solenoid has two wires running two it, one is constant power which is shared with the AAC value and some other components (see wiring diagram) the other is a ground signal. The ground signal (black wire) is run to the ECU. This wire is grounded when rpm is greater than 4500rpm by the factory ECU. Basically if you give the wire a constant ground instead of the ECU's above 4500rpm ground it will always be open, thus allowing it to be in high mode aka 7-8psi." Without confirming with an r33 owner, im assuming the ecu pin will ground the signal to allow 7-8psi. As the majority of r33's tune to 12psi+, they all use an aftermarket boost controller to get this amount. Hope that helps. These skylines arent as fancy as evos Last edited by Pat32; 09-03-2010 at 12:42 PM. |

Re: Nissan skyline wiring diagrams to HFS-3
Can I assume if the HFS-3 "disconnect" the wire between the ECU and valve, it removes the ability of the ECU to raise the boost to 7-8psi?

Re: Nissan skyline wiring diagrams to HFS-3
You can always get a MAC valve from howerton to by-pass the bleed valve or EBC. I will make a diagram how this can be implemented.
