Default to Richard L. how to chiptune for WI use?

Please Richard give me some advice in order to instruct an chiptuning specialist to adjust set-up in order to maximize performance for water + meth progressive injection for turbo diesel engine. He is not having any experience in WI and it will be helpful since I intend to implement WI tuning in Romania and I do not have here any specialist in order to make a proper WI oriented chiptuning.
Actually I was surprised not to find an WI experienced engineer even at Abott Racing. I need some help in order to pursuate clients that WI is well worthing and since now I managed only to tune an Saab up to 40% performance gain but it takes way too much time and knowledge to adjust injection parameter by WI needs (actually to fool ECU to inject by my goal).
Thank you,
Cristian

Hello Cristian.

I am not familiar with diesel chip tuning. I cannot recommend the basics:

Diesel is an excessive air system, increasing boost will not achieve more power unless extra fuel in added. Two ways to achieve this:
1. Increase fuel line pressure
2. Increase the fuel by using 100% methanol on the water injection

After matching the optinmum afr, you should monitor the EGT and increase water percentage and flow to control peak EGT. Keep egt below 800C.
