Default Any alternative to methanol?

Methanols are pretty hard to get here and they're quite expensive(cause they're hard to get..duh )

Im not so familar with chemicals, but anyway, are there alternatives to methanol that has similar if not close effects to it? To my understanding, the closest would be ethanol..and its also hard to source down here(im in Malaysia)...Acetone?

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Cheers.

Acetone is not replacement for alcohol. You can try iso-propanyl or ethanol. But Aquamist pump will only take up to 5% ethanol and 25% isopropanyl.
