Default Average water consumption

I am totaly new in this and recently bougth SC kit based on Eaton MP62 with 7,5 PSI of boost.

What is average water consumption in WI system? I presume that it should depend on SC/turbo boost, i.e. driving style, maybe size of engine.
In any case I would appreciate very much if you could give me some parmeters.

TIA

Hey Nenad.. this is for your Passat I presume?

I use about a half gallon of WI-fluid per tank of gas, of course depending on how I drive. It's a difficult question to answer precisely since it depends greatly on the design of your WI system, but a gallon sized resevior is common for street cars.

Or look at it this way... if you're running 6 440cc/min injectors @ 3bar @ 80% IDC at your horsepower peak, with 20% water/fuel ratio, you'll be pumping about 420cc/min of water, so you'd empty a 1 gallon resevior in about 9 minutes of max usage, so just figure out how much time you would spend at peak power during the course of a tank of gas. You'd empty your fuel tank in about 30 minutes giving that example.

Hi Mac,

thx for lightening answer.
Yes, it is for my SC. My injectors are RC 270cc/min at 3 bar.
Mr.Richard Lamb from Aquamist was kind enough to recommend 1S or 2D systems for my set up.
