Yes, it is correct.

After you have removed the DHB, a yellow led on the gauge will be lit at "gauge off" mode.
This reminds you the system is running high boost without water injection.

Please confirm this.

That is exactly what happens. And the fail safes when the wmi is on seem to work just the same as before. Thanks.

Moving the jumper fron dr0 to dr1 did fix my check engine light.

Now only to figure out why when the wmi goes to fail safe the car doesn't go totally to wastegate pressure of 15-16 instead it goes to about 20.

I assume you have setup the SC to display 5-6 bar under the manual activation test?

Have you set up the WL and WH? Try 10 am and 2 pm respectively.

Yes. Sc is set and the WL and WH are at about 8 and 1 set by a tuner.

Unplug the grey harness, and see if the boost pressure drop down to wastegate. Don't it for too long in case it stays high as aquamist is unplugged.
