Default Screen Wash

Hi guys

I'm running "battery top up water" to prevent deposits accumulating in the pump, lines, jets etc.

I was just wondering what screen wash to use just as antifreeze ? Something that's easily obtainable from Halfords etc.

The screenwash they sell is ethonal based and therefore not suitable for the pumps (as per instructions).

SO it comes down to "red/pink" or "blue" screenwash - is this purely down to colouring or does it indicate the contents ?

As predicted, the Halfords guy was totally stumped  when I asked him!

Cheers

Chris

Car is only for road use, so nothing fancy is needed.

There`s a make on here somewhere, think it`l just come down to reading the ingredients on the bottle though? If you mix 20% methanol you should be fine for antifreeze.

I`m pricing up water at the moment, Farnell`s aparantly do 25l of distilled water for ?8, don`t know what the posteage is yet though..
