Hidden costs of water injection? - life of various parts
Hey guys,
I posted a post like this in a different forum but didn't get any bites. So I ordered my water injection setup and I wonder, how will it effect oxygen sensors? Longer or shorter life? What about EGT probes? Do you guys have to run stainless systems now? Effects on catalytic converters? Are copper or platinum plugs better? The car is turbocharged I currently run champion coppers replacing every 6 or 7 thousand miles (every other oil change). Also I have emissions test in August, will it help or hurt? extra note: Should I place as close to intercooler or as close to throttle body? (if after intercooler) Thanks a bunch guys

Somebody has posted before that every gallon of fuel burned your engine transforms it into a gallon and a half of water. You can make the conclusion abou the exhaust side yourself

Try not to cross-post unnecessarily. The question was better asked in the prior section as this is a theory rather than a forced induction application question.
