Default Datsun 1600 meets HFS4

G'day guys,

This is the second Aquamist system installed on my car as I am upgrading from a HFS3 v2. The HFS3 system operated using a single 1mm nozzle post intercooler and 100% water. The new system uses 6 nozzles. 4x 110cc for direct port injection, 1x110cc post intercooler and 1x 3mm pre turbo. I'll let the pictures of the install, set up and results speak for themselves. Please feel free ask questions. Special thanks to Jeff and the guys at Howerton Engineering for supplying the new kit in a hurry and great after sales service.

Very happy with the results and the performance of the HSF4 system. Full credit to Richard and the Aquamist team for such a great product. Also, special thanks to Yavus, Mark and Zac for an awesome tuning session and Peter from Rice Racing for the inspiration.
Cheers, Orlando

I cant believe it but that car I tuned in the late 90's back then it has a 13B turbo in it (owned by Kurt) same color, plates, had simons on it back then...... I am 90% sure its the same car!

Great work man, great result, thanks for saying I inspired you too

I know the car you are referring to Peter but it isn't mine. Very similar though.
I was studying physics a few years ago and stumbled across your website while googling some information on thermodynamics. Stayed up every night for the next week reading the info on your site and this forum. Knew from that moment that I had to have a WI system fitted to my car!

Glad

Richard and his site here are to be lauded as well, he is a top bloke and as an enthusiastic for Water Injection as any man I know.

Engineering and its application will triumph over hype any day, though some days its a battle, thankfully for us there is a true home here where all like minded people can share and spread the truth and people like yourself can see what real smart people knew around a century ago now!
