Default 50/50 mix spayed on intercooler surface.

Question: I am in the process of installing a hfs-5 system and will be utilizing a common bottle for my aquamist and what was used for spraying my intercooler on the outside. Most likely I will not need to use that anymore with the efficency of the aquamist but if I did would the methonol have any chemical negitive reaction to the contact suface of the intercooler or any suface for that matter. Keep in mind it would be VP1 M1 methonol 50/50 mix.
Thank You.

It`ll corrode the intercooler over time, the core (and probably end tanks) will be aluminium.

If you find you need to spray the i/c you`re better off with plain water, plus it`s a waste of 50/50 mix..
