Default 100 octane<93 octane

Need some questions answered about new Auqamist water inj system I have purchased. I am in a time crunch and need to test it soon. Did not come with any guidelines to nozzle size and placement.
What nozzle size should be used?
How many nozzles should be used?
What placement is best?
I am using 6.0L v-8 with supercharger. It runs 860 ft lbs and 1069 hp on 100 octane unleaded with 25+ pounds boost. Need to run on 93 octane now. Is this possible?

Hello Kurt,

I have suggested that your should contact Brad at Georges Import to upgrade your system. You need to deliever about a litre or water per minute or 1.5 liter of 50/50 methanol/water.

10-15% of water to fuel will allow about 3 octane points, in you case, I suggest your run 20-25% water to fuel. I am assunming you don't have a chargecooler and a roots type superchareg?

We need less water if you run a centrifugal supercharger.

Richard
