Default Re: Failsafe at Full Throttle

Update

As I stated in my previous post, I had removed the flow turbine to clean it again and reinstalled it reversed, so that flow is going through it in the opposite direction. Doing so made the flow gauge respond more smoothly: instead of no bars or full bars, there is now smoother modulation of partial bars on the gauge, even though initially flow continued to suddenly drop at WOT.

But now after a week of driving and a few rolling/high-speed WOT tests on the highway (where the system would consistently drop flow and go into failsafe), all appears to be functioning normally. Over the last few dozen system activations (WOT and partial-throttle), there has been no issue.

After some concern that the pump might be failing, I'm now inclined to think that the issue has been the flow turbine all along. So for now, I will simply monitor the situation and will report back if the issue arises again.

My thanks to Richard for your input!

Did you find anything suspicious lodged inside the sensor?

Yes - a very tiny piece of black debris I could not identify.
