Default What systems have you used and have experience with?

I wanted to start this thread to see what people use for water injection when the Aquamist system is not enough...

Also if you have Dyno numbers with and without W/I

Let's see what people are doing.

Nick

OK seeing I've just joined, I'll stir the pot

What I have learnt about the Aquamist systems off the web and several people I know who have run or are running them. The systems are pretty good and flexable to control and setup. However the one weak point is the pump.

Run them dry or get them hot and your in the poo, the more expensive systems have aditional circuitry to help save the pump, but the other problem is the limited volume of water they can pump.

By my reckoning they are not robust or flexable enough for the job.

The system in my car can run all day with no water (read reliable), I can add nozzels for intercooler spray as well as inject in the manifold and still have plenty of capacity to play with at any pressure up to 100psi (read flexable).

Any bites?

Stephen
