Post Air intake

Hey guys,

I will begin with the fact i might be in the wrong part of the forum so if i am just let me know and i will move the thread!!

I have a VW Golf MK5 to be honest a great all round car, very fast pull off, great handling and you are rolling in style. I have had it lowered with 17" Deep dish rims added on, twin exhaust, i have removed the back seats and tinted the back windows jet black. So to be honest it looks the beastly i also added a K&N air filter so you can here it sucking in the air ()

Being as i am a beginner on mechanics and all the work that has been done to my car was in a garage and not by me. Is the K&N air filter forced induction? after searching Forced induction for sale that has not come up with a great deal ?? and I have started looking into forced induction system but still don't know what i am looking at

I know that sounds a bit mad but it is the best way i can explain it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Specs
Year: 2008
Body: hatchback
Doors: 5
Gear: 6 speed manual
Drive: Front wheel
Millage: 72,000

Example image below but it looks just like mine i don't know how to upload my own pictures just yet

Thanks
