Default 2002 Subaru WRX - Aquamist

I did a "budget" install for a customer recently...

here is the jet install for the top mount intercooler...

here is a close up... the sensor is for intercooler temperature (inlet/outlet)...

control box for FIA, fuse, priming pump signal extender, monmentary manual priming pump switch (if needed)...

inside...

here is the pump and related component install in the rain tray... pump is attatched with isolation mounts to reduce noise in the cabin...

and with the rain tray installed...

and a STi Version 8 spec C tank in the trunk...

descriptions are still awful, because i still need sleep.

Great set of pictures. You are taking a great deal of trouble refining our system- good and neat work.

Are you using the existing hose that comes from the 12L tank to the front of the engine bay, next to the bulk head. Idf you do, you can also take the advantage of the priming pump. You can activate the priming pump with the "pulse extender" which you are good in making them in house.

The existing dash "intercooler spray" button can now power a inline solenoid valve to the existing intercooler spray jets. The water is drawn from the 806-201 manifolds (tee of from blanking plug if an accumul;ator is not fitted). But be careful, the water pressure is now at 7 bar so you mey need to change the existing intercooler spray jet to one of our smaller jet or risking empty your 12L tank in 3 minures flat.

Get some good sleep this weekend.

We have a few customer that did this and found the spray pattern is better than the original spray jets.
