I wish I have knowledge on this.

I believe fabres are held together with some form of epoxy. Not sure how this compound reacts with methanol long term. Make you life easier, use a plastic tank with a known material.

Thanks,
I'm mounting a red petrol plastic tank (5litre) ATM

now about metals, I know aluminium is out of question, but is there any other metal that would cope with methanol ? stainless steel ?

that's good news
I might design my own stainless tank later then
the tricky side will be the cap system

which foam could be used ?

Hows the in cabin noise of the pump?
I guess you hardly hear it as the exhaust muffles it.

as you said, I don't hear anything cause of the direct exhaust pipe.
I would guess with normal exhaust and back seat fitted, it shouldn't be very noticable. should be about the same as your fuel pump but lower frequency
