Default What are the FAV failure symptoms?

Hello,

This post is in relation to a custom system that uses the FAV.

Does anyone know in what way does the FAV usually fails?

I'm having a problem where my FAV or system seems to be putting in far more liquid than usual. Usually start spraying at 40% duty cycle, now.

I had to take the FAV apart the other day to clean some debris that had it stuck open. I'm wondering if the spring tension changed or anything like that if that could be a cause?

<assuming it's the FAV and not the controller, which is currently being looked at as well>

You cannot take the FAV apart and put is back together and expect the valve to work the same. The lift of the piston is critical to the linearity if the valve.

You need to order a new FAV tee. You have ruin the valve for good.
