Do you require a license to buy methanol? - I thought not, but then I work in a laboratory that may already have the prerequisite paperwork (we occasionally get HMRC come to look at our stills).
I was talking to a teacher who said her school can't buy methanol because they're not licensed... which seems odd given that none of the suppliers I've looked at have ever asked to see one.
