Here is the wiring diagram that I sent years ago.

Connect the Aquamist red wire to the pin 8 (green/yellow wire) in orange connector in the engine bay black box where the ECU is.

This works in european models.

There is nothing wrong with the diagram. The red wire of the grey harness should be connected to D22.
