Default Soot Free brand alchohol/fuel

While shopping for methanol,I came across this stuff in a camping section of a marine supply store it has a mix of stuff even though it is advertised as denatured alchohol for alchohol burning stoves.I dont know the percentages. It contains acetone wich I think is some people experimented with as a gasoline additive. hope this is of interest to some of you. ethyl alchohol, methyl alchohol,acetone,methyl-etyl ketone. The label says it is water soluble and can be use as winshield washer antifreeze, general cleaner or a thinner. It was 3.75 for the gallon.I have been using it for a few days.

Denatured alcohol = ethanol + [methanol + fouling agents (acetone, MEK....)] to make it undrinkable. Stay away from it....all the ketones, mek, acetone....are powerful solvents, bad for seals and hoses.

Thanks for the advice--I'm just going to stick to methanol/water mix.
