HFS3 wiring ecu area
Evening All
i am struggling a little here. i have installed the kit on my rs4 b5 2000 model, me7 ecu. i have done all the wiring and the kit is working fine, i am now on to the next stage of mapping it in. and my goal is to get a signal to my laptop for logging. i have been told to use the orange wire to the rear o2 lambda input for the signal. I have done this and it has not worked am i doing this correctly? Also on the same harness i have no connect for the yellow wire or black wire, do they need connecting to for the Orange wire to work? thanks |

Re: HFS3 wiring ecu area
What signal do you want to log?
Orange wire on the grey harness is a map switch wire.

Re: HFS3 wiring ecu area
I am not sure what you are trying to do.
FS1 and FS0 only changes state upon failsafe activation.

Re: HFS3 wiring ecu area
Rite OK I may be way off the mark here.
First of all where is the orange wire meant to go? Secondly my main aim is to get a voltage signal from the grey harness into the ecu. So I can log when the meth is kicking in.I know I have the gauge but my file writer can't see this. Thanks for your help. |
