Default Need Help building water spray system with Aquamist parts

Hi all,

I already have a direct port meth setup for the combustion but I'm now trying to get the best water spray system to cool my car.

Hoping anyone here can suggest or help me out.

I track my car and it gets to 50deg C track temps, I have built 7 nozzles covering the intercooler, radiator and two of my oil coolers using 1.0mm jets from Aquamist nozzles (I also tried 0.5mm but it wasn't effective).

What would you recommend to use as nozzles, I don't feel the water spray is effective still or wide enough at high speeds
.

I now have a 160psi pump (almost identical to the aquamist pump) and a button to trigger it (simple setup). pics below.

The pump in these pics wasn't strong engouh (60psi) so I changed to the 160psi pump.

Looks great!

I think you need to add an inline checkvalve to stop syphoning under gravity. Might empty your tank over night if the jet is below the water level.

Thanks Richard,

I did put one before we starting splitting the lines at the front of the car

What else do you think I could use for nozzles? I'm thinking I want a mist spray but one with a very wide spray angle 360 deg. the jets I'm using are only about 2" in spray pattern.

Perhaps should try directing the nozzles to spray at the opposite direction of air flow to the coolers?
