Very nice and clean install.

Once you have made a flash cable, I will send you the files to modify the flow table. I have five to six to suit every jet combination.

Exclamation Re: Install HFS-3 on DI engines - any need to connect MAP sensor?

Hello Richard! I have a question about gauge workout.

In SYS mode (at full flow) it shows 2 bar lights.

When accelerating and 1 and 2 gears i see this:

At 3rd gear:

At other 4-6 gears i saw 2 lights at full throttle.

What is it? On the 1 and 2nd gear flow is greater or what?..

I believe you need to flash in a flow table for a smaller flow. As I remembered you are only running a 0.5mm jet. The standard fl;ow table is cater for 0.8 to 0.1mm.

Until we have it reflashed, it is not easy to determine the actual flow with 2 bar resolution. The HFS-3 tracks fuel flow, your display probably shows what the injector is doing.

You can make the following test for me.

test pin 16:
(what the H3 is seeing)
1. at idle
2. at cruising
3. at WOT

Richard, which programmer should I use to re-flash the EEPROM?
Should it be PIC-specific programmer device or any SPI device is okay?

Can I just build SPI programmer on my Arduino microprocessor board and use it?
Also, should I unsolder the EEPROM from the mainboard?

Sorry for so many questions, but I will do the re-flash for Sergey (Cptn_Sol) and need to know more details.

Just a thought, I posted all the details to Cptn_Sol. I cannot find the email I sent. Can you ask him to forward the same email I sent him?
