Please post installation pictures of the HFS-3 here
Start a new thread and post your car there, I love to see the final destination of the HFS-3 journey. My last view was the Fedex collection truck.

Honda S2000
Video of testing Aquamist HFS-3 with HydraEMS controlling water injection via a 2d PWM map and an auxiliary map. When the Aquamist is switched on, the HydraEMS switches to auxiliary maps (fuel & timing) Any faults revert the HydraEMS back to the base map. Nice Failsafe! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OshKY9UwpMY Last edited by EngineerX; 26-04-2010 at 08:23 AM. |

Looks nice. I like how the pump is upright, this is to get the panel to fit correct?

Re: Please post installation pictures of the HFS-3 here
Correct. The orientation of the tank and pump allow for installation of the black plastic cover, keeping the kit hidden and protected from trunk contents.

Gengo: Amazing how well the gauge colours matches the instrument panal in the dark!

Re: Honda S2000
This is a serious tank mount. The buffer tank below is very sensible.

Thanks, I used a 3/4" polypropylene bulkhead fittings to couple the surge tank to the main tank. A "breather" tube from the top of the surge tank to the top of the main tank would make it better. But I tested the 3/4" fitting and it's large enough to allow free flow between the 2 tanks with only a very small amount of air trapped on the top of the surge tank. I was able to tighten the fitting enough so that it holds the surge tank very well. These fittings are quite sturdy. I used stainless steel 306 for the brackets. I stood on top of the main tank and the brackets were just about to yield. I weigh 155 lbs (11.07 St) http://www.atlantarainbarrels.com/bulkheadfittings.htm |
