I are experiencing the engine stumbles a bit at moment the system starts to spray, possibly due to over-spray. My injector is boschEV14 980cc x6. I solder pre-amp gain from 1x to 1.5x. When I put thres trimmer 12 o'clock (42%) , the jet spray monment, my engine fuel injector duty cycle is only 23% only. So I turn thres trimmer clockwise to AM 2:30, the stumbles is decreased. Because I had 2 big tubrochargers, I also turn P-I/R to 65%( IDC )/ 35% ( boost). Any advise and suggest about my problems ? Thanks

If you are running upto 90%, you should not solder link the x1.5. You will over inject.

Please reinstate the pre-amp gain back to x1 and let me know.

I remember that From x1.5 to x2.5 it is only a 1.66x. How about from x1.0 to x1.5 ? Is it increase off-set ? For example , the real engine fuel duty clcye is 30% , if solder from 1.5 to 2.5 , the aquamist IDC will be 49.8 % ( 30% x 1.66 ). Let make over -spray.

from 1 to x1.5, 50% duty = 75%
from 1 to x2.5 50% dc = 125%

If you are already running 90% idc, you shouldn't link either x1.5 or x2.5.

Hi.
I reinstate the pre-amp gain back to x1 from 1.5x. Then I link FDC and found only 4 bar on gauge during WOT. But before I pre-amp 1.5x, the FDC show 7 bar during WOT. Also I am very hard to setting WH after solder pre-amp gain 1x.

The number of bars displaed on the gauge is set by the SC trimmer on the gauge. You need to following procedure to set up the failsafe. Page 14 (HFS4 user manual)

The Settinmg of the WH has little or nothing to do with the gains once you have set up the
controller. If you keep changing the threshold and gain on the controller, you havre to redo the WL. WH and SC.
