Soluble OIL ?
I am running water injection 2 years now with no problems... now I decided to go pre-turbo and I am working on a custom made nozzle with 50um holes flowing around 250cc MAX.
Now I came across the soluble oil option to add into the water in order to prevent corrosion and help with lubrication. What do you recommend ? Here is some info for you on this subject from the NATO secret files http://www.everyspec.com/MIL-SPECS/M...L-4339E_39133/ Last edited by parmas; 29-06-2014 at 02:11 PM. |

Re: Soluble OIL ?
You probably don't need to inject that much pre turbo.
How much power are you pushing? |

Re: Soluble OIL ?
I don't think you will reach 320whp with that turbo. 270whp would be the maximum unless using an optimistic dyno.
Are you trying to just go pre turbo injection only? |

I am injected post turbo for a year now. No intercooler used. In order to keeps temps stable I needed to inject around 350cc @ 150psi. Now I am trying to go pre-turbo and reducing jet size on post turbo for better atomization. |

Whatever you are going to do, never put an hydrocarbon of oily substance into the aquamist system, it will damage the seal of the FAV.
