Hey there I'm new to the forum. Jeff at Howerton Engineering told me about this GB. am already running an HFS-3 and am interested in the summer. Is this going to be for the V3 version that will interface with the HFS user port I read about farther up?

Put me down for a summer and any harnesses needed to integrate it with the HFS-3.

The summer v3 will have a special H3-harness that plug straight into the H3. The wiring should be very simple. H6-harness will be supplied for those who order the H6/summer bundle.

In your case, I will supply a summer/H3-harness for you. There will be instructions with the summer.

The older summer v2 is quite complicated to wire up.

MRT and I will give your support either way. I think getting it from MRT will be sooner as you do not need the summer.

There will be special harness for HFS-3 and HFS-6. No more complicated wiring as the Version 2 (originally designed to interface with the older kit such as HFS1 and HFS-5).

It will be very straight forward.

Thanks Richard, that sounds great I am really interested in getting one of these.

Another question:
The summer is designed to work with different sized primary and secondary injectors and combine each injector IDC channel into a single summed IDC signal that the HFS uses to meter H20/CH4O delivery so that it is kept at a constant ratio to the vehicle's fuel delivery rate correct? How do you adjust the summer so that each IDC input from the two injector channels correctly correlates to the percentage each channel is contributing to total fuel delivery?

Thanks in advance

Hi Richard,

What is the time-line looking like for these kits? I'm planning my build around the delivery of parts.

In a previous post you said the advantage of the HFS-6 over the HFS-3 is when using 100% methanol or when varying boost often (>15lbs).

Did I read that correctly? I ask because I will never run 100% methanol and I'm still trying not to make the wrong decision between the 2 kits available. My boost levels will be between 15-20lbs.

Thanks again!!!

Massi

Well it looks like the first 15 went quick. Are we just waiting on 5 more to kick them off?
