HFS4-v3 Configuration for DI-System
Hey,
I received my new HFS4-v3-System and I am going to use it for a DI-System. I have some questions for configurating the Controller and unfortunatly I was not able to find answers in other threads. Fuelinjection ICD detection (green cable, grey RJ45-connector): The wiring diagram shown on page 7 of the manual seems to be for port-injection-systems, because in my opinion connecting the green cable with (-)pin of a DI-fuel injector (solenoid) might cause a damage of the controller?! So what to do with the green cable of the grey RJ45-connector in case of a DI-System? IDC pre-amplifier gain: There are three options for the IDC pre-amplifier: x1.0, x1.5 and x2.5. x.1.0 ist for "some DI systems", x2.5 for "95% of the current DI fueling systems" (Manual, page 21). Can you help me finding the correct configuration for my DI-system (solenoid)? Thank you very much! Meister Eder |

I missed the last two posts.
For DI injected engines: - Prescaler to x2.5 - Red and green wire of the green harness to the fuel injector. - The red wire of the grey harness goes to a 12V source at "pre-crank" and "run" key position. The green wire is no longer used. You can download the current user manual to all the system on the www.aquqmist-direct.com It has all the above information.
