Default 997 turbo .. something is going wrong

hello there ,

i installed 3 hfs-3 kits in diffrent 997tt and 996tt !!!

but before 4 weeks i ordered a kit that came with diffrent PWM (v2) and diffrent relay !!!!

so we installed the kit in this 997 turbo , same as the the old kits we installed

but this one actting weired !!! the gauge is not active correctly as you can see in the pics .. the pump sometimes worked by itself and pass the meth , but no meth went after the FAV !!!!! the system is working crazy !!!

so what had been changed in the new system ? (PWM V2) ???

is the installtion should be diffrent the old kits ??

thanks so much

Where did you tap the red wire of the green harness?

To be honest the car in the workshop now , not next to me !
But the installation was the same of the old 997tt we did and 996tt !!

Is there some new wiring changed in the installation between the old pwm and pwm v2 ??

No, eveything is the same.

Are you using the original gauge cable from the factory?

The new relay has an inbuild fuse. Makes no difference.

What kind of new gauge cable did you use instead of the factory one?

Normall wire , if you want , i can use the orignal one to test

But do you think this may effect the system

Because the system act like crazy !! First thing when i switch on the car , the gauge red bars active all of them , and yellow light apeared even if the tank is full of water ! When i switched the kit off by the button on the gauge it did not switch OFF !!! So its really weired and i do not know from where i start to fix it !!

The normal RJ45 cat cable will not work. The aquamist gauge cable is reversed or mirrored. If you need to longer cable , you need to specify it before when ordering. We alwaye pack in extended cable for Porsche application.

I hope you have not damaged the gauge.

You can also ask a local shop to make a cable for you. see below:

I tried to active the system today but the same issues i wrote you yesterday !!
But after i did some changes to the PWM unit from inside , it made the gauge not working at like yesterday , only the yellow light apeared in the gauge , then after 5 secs it off !!! So i think the gauge is damaged !!
