help. where to go
got the whole system hooked up and started going through the checks. the problem is that when i put it in test mode the pump doesnt energize. ive checked power at the relay from both the battery and key, checked ground, fuse is good and in place. all of the light on the controller seem to light up. its as if the controller isnt ground to switch the relay. i put power directly to the pump it works fine.
this test fails 2. Simulating 100% injection test: Remove the link and put it on the ?TST? slot momentarily and observe: - Amber led on the controller board will light up. - Red led on the controller board also lights up. - The yellow should light up except for the blue RJ connector, which lights - The water pump will start. doesnt start - There should be full spray on the jet instantly unless the system is not fully primed. Allow a few seconds for the water to reach the jet. For longer hose run installations, remove the jet first to allow faster priming. - Remove the link and put it back to the ?PRK? position before you empty the water tank. If all is well, move to the next test stage. |

Re: help. where to go
talked to jeff at howerton thinks i might need new controller. but to answer your questions to see if he might of missed something. the red wire has power the blue wire is the ground. i ground blue wire pump start bot contoller will not ground relay to switch. the yellow light on the red harness doesnt come on. the inj link is connected. did you need a picture to see if the link on the pwm terminal is connected to the bottom of the tree termals because it is. the water level indicater works and it show s on the gauge. i also checked continuity from blue wire at relay to blue rj connector. ive also double and triple checked all grounds. the fcm doesnt click either. but the controller reconizes it there. it also passed the first test in the manual to see if connected properly. ive already contacted vivid to see about getting replacement parts but still happy to recieve more imput to make sure the fault in the system thankyou

Re: help. where to go
Can you tell me if the yellow led is on during your test.
One more thing to check. If you unplug the water level sensor and run the same tests again for me.

Re: help. where to go
during the 100% simulation the only yellow light on is on the board itself and user port. unplugging the water lever sensor changes nothing.
