Default MAP Failsafe Wiring?

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the wiring diagrams. I'm about to install an HFS-3 on my 2008 STi and I had a doubt regarding the orange cable that goes to section B (B135), MAP SW/Safe Mode (optional fail safe). In the diagram you put it going to two terminals (26 and 27). My question is if this cable needs to be connected to both terminals or just one.
My second question was it says on the diagram this failsafe is optional; by that you mean that it can be done as an additional failsafe or that it can be wired in place of the Boost Solenoid. Any advantages to this optional failsafe?

Thanks.
