Default Methanol in hatchback dangerous?

I have a 50% methanol/50% water mixture in my hatchback. The rear seats and a small fiberboard carpeted cover seperate the hatch from the cabin in my Eagle Talon Tsi. I am using a plastic tank that has a small vent tube so that air can enter as the water injection mixture is pumped out out of the tank.

My question is: How dangerous is the inhalation of this miture of methanol? I cannot actively smell it, but don't want to get poisoned if I do end up inhaling some.

Do other people have their methanol mixtures in their trunks?

Thanks for any input.

Oh, P.S.- I'm not a smoker...........

if youare concerned about the fumes, extend the tube and take it ourside the car.

As regarding health harzarda, need to search for the ppm level regards as safe.
