open up the FCM...

1. Pick out the brown wire from the 8-core cable
2. Cut it as closely as possible from the circuit board.
3. Cut the "non-red" wire off the solenoid valve pin. Tape it up.
4. Solder the brown wire to the same pin.
5. Now the valve is driven directly from the controller.

Hey Richard..so I connected the brown wire to the black wire in the FCM. It doesn't click anymore but I was wondering if anything was reset since my car was already tuned with the aquamist kit.

1) Can you send me a picture of the modifications. I like to check it.
2) Can you use the manual test "TST" and let me know if the valves actives. Make sure the INJ is linked.

Thank you for the picture. the modification is perfect.

Can you reassemble the FCM fully and do a manual "TST". With the "INJ" link on. You can disconnect the hose to the water jet so you can see the spray if there is working normally.

The water level led is doubled up as failsafe activation. If you haven't yet set up the failsafe as described in the user manual, I will help you setting it.

Querstion...

What is the maximum number of bars displayed on the gauge at WOT?

It looked like it was 6 bars...not sure if the tuner set up the failsafe or not

Re: Having issues with HFS-6

When I filled up the tank all the way the water level led would stop flashing when it sprayed. Is it supposed to flash like that when the water level in the tank is lower ??

Re: Having issues with HFS-6

The led should not be flashing at all. Only the action of lever arm of the sensor moved by water near the empty period makes the led flash.
