Thanks Richard. Will let you know how it goes

Re: System will not trigger from IDC

Looks as though it has all been successful. Takes a few rpm to get it triggered with the trimmer fully counterclockwise but I'd say this is due to the largish injectors (750cc). Should I use the 1.5x multiplier to get it to trigger a little earlier as I'm only at around 24.5% idc at 8psi boost. I don't have the actual duty cycle data logged but used a calculator that uses ms and rpm to come up with the % figure. I did have to turn the trimmer back to get it to start injecting at 10psi. Is there a typical boost pressure to use for a starting point or does it change with individual vehicles?

Also am I able to data log from the aquamist if I wire it into one of the ecu's inputs? I noticed in a couple of other threads where a yellow wire was mentioned for this.

Never tired of hearing success stories! You must have very skilful soldering techniques.

Yes, x1.5 is essential if you are not using all the capacity.

Just connect the yellow wire to the ecu input. Here are the signal configurations:

0 to 0.5V ............... reserved for sensor detection
0.5 to 4.5V ............ flow signal (conditioned by the SC trimmer on the gauge)
4.5 50 5V ............. sensor malfunction signal.

You flow log will be between 0.5V to 4.5V

Re: System will not trigger from IDC

Thanks for the help Richard. Will change to the 1.5x multiplier and road test it as soon as I'm able to get access to the car again.

Just waiting on a reply from Haltech in regards to setting up a data logging input but it's good to hear that it is possible with the aquamist unit.

I'm really keen to finally get a water/meth tune done in the car now

Not many people use these signal, shame.

Quick question to revive an old thread

I have since changed to high impedence injectors. Will the resistor I fitted need to be removed again or will the system work properly with it still in place?

same resistor
