Monkiboy,

Impressive install, enjoy those pictures, thank you. Your car is totally stripped for racing?

03 bie3st,

I too like the gauge placement, is there a lot of work?

I heard from Jeff, you have lost traction of one of the gears after the install.

Richard,

Once I got the dash off and did an examination of the size of the clock, the Aquamist is an almost dead-center replacment. :)

The car makes crazy power and yes, downshifting from approx. 65 mph into 3rd gear on the freeway and stomping on the gas results in the rear end wanting to break traction and go sideways...again :)

Thanks for the development

What is the stock power? I can imagine the fun of driving such a beast.

Stock HP from Cadillac is 556 at the crankshaft. The power at the crankshaft now is approx 721 using a 15% factor...

It is luxurious and VIOLENT all at the same time

thanks. i have a few more coming!

no, the car is a daily driver and has a full interior. i had stripped the rear for sound deadening that i began and have quite a bit to finish, yet. once all is tested, settled, and permanent, i'm going to do a fiberglass trunk interior molded around the components.

baby steps.

like 03* said "luxurious and violent"...a seemingly excellent theme for my build as well. that cadillac of his just takes luxury to a new level ;)

I can see the amount of effort you are putting into the install. I like ot follow this closely, snap as many pictures as possible along the way please.

Did you have to do much to take it to 721?

I wondered where I had heard your voice before, then you mentioned m5 so I looked into it and found your HFS-6 M5 video that I had watced last year. NIce install.

Pardon the ignorance, but what engine is in the new CTS-V, and what blower, was it stock or added?

richard,

my tune is this weekend. for the tune and future mixing, i'll be using vp fuels M1. should i just take 3/4 gallon of it and 3/4 gallon of RO/DI (i assume that will do and easy as i'm also a salt water reef junkie and have a unit at home) and mix and pour into my 2 gallon HE tank enclosure for a 50/50 mix? i know some folks use boost juice but seems like it gets unreliable results as to how much methanol is actually present in the solution and i find it a bit more expensive.
