Any topic on the HFS-6

impatient answer testing

turbojack 01-03-2009 12:53 AM

Just because Aaron posted I want to be a part of this as well.

Richard L 01-03-2009 01:57 PM

I want to post also.

Pit Viper 01-03-2009 02:22 PM

Richard, I have a question pertaining to my particular setup. With the adjustability of the HFS-6 in terms of duty-cycle vs. fuel, which nozzles would it make the most sense to use in my direct-port setup? I currently have (4) 0.4mm nozzles, and (4) 4-scroll 0.3mm nozzles. I will be running 450cc injectors.

Aaron

JETS = Aquamist

Nozzles = those other people

Richard L 01-03-2009 05:50 PM

I can use both terminologies

Richard,

How much better do you think my atomization will be with the new 160psi pump vs. the older 125 psi pump? I am running a direct port system with (6) .4mm jets.

Thanks, and I can't wait to install my HFS-6!!

-George

Richard L 02-03-2009 11:58 PM

I am sure the atomisation will be better, have a look at the chart below.

6x 0.4mm, wow is it for an infinite? Post some pictures. Don't forget ro use a secondary 30micron filter. I have signed in the my350Z forum, you are pretty busy there, especially your 1000whp project!

George@GTM 03-03-2009 03:44 AM

Thanks for the chart Richard, Yes its going into my G35 it is a stroked 4.15L VQ with APS Extreme twin turbo, I don't feel like spending money on 100octane fuel when direct port water injection will do much more than 100 octane with out paying $8-10/Gal.

I am only running 100% distilled water and plan on running 20-25% W/F ratio. My friend Gurgen and I are the only ones with this setup as far as I know.

I will post some pictures of the progress when I get the jets in :)

Going for 700rwhp on pump gas :D

Hi Richard

I am building an STi for the street, running a twin scroll GT35R with Motec M800 for engine management.
Should I integrate the HFS-6 to be controlled by the Motec? Or does it have to be run standalone?

Cheers
Dennis

Richard L 03-03-2009 01:37 PM

The choice is completely up you. I suggest running the HFS-6 as it is for the time being, IDC mirroring + trim.

If you use motec map, you may have to add all sort of air/engine temperature compensation, acc/decel enrichment and road speed correction etc. Make it a more complex affair.

Pit Viper 05-03-2009 04:05 PM

So, what happens with the GB after our deposit is paid? :D

turbojack 05-03-2009 04:12 PM

Richard takes the money and invests in high risk mortgages.......

Richard L 05-03-2009 06:40 PM

You will be called to settle the final payment by CC a few days before shipping.

Now you can make more money off of your investment by asking for bail out funds on the reasoning that you incurred bad debt in the purchase and you need to cover and profit off of others mistakes.

Richard L 05-03-2009 08:58 PM

Jack, you have exposed my grand scam, in order to extort money from the public, you must make an offer to the government they cannot refuse. Wall street is a better bet than General motors (after careful considerations).

Hi Richard,

I have not been contacted yet for a deposit, just want to make sure I wasn't overlooked :)

You are an Aquamist agent so you will only be dealing with BKA inc. A HFS-6 system (GB listed) is reserved and supply via BKA. I have not fogotten you.

George@GTM 05-03-2009 11:54 PM

Thats what I figured, just want to make sure I get my hands on one of the first units, very excited.

Thanks for the quick reply Richard!

Richard L 05-03-2009 11:58 PM

You are quite high up on the list.

The HFS-6 is going to be a breeze to install compared to the HFS-5, that is another big plus!!

I would be glad to help you out, just give me a call at the shop with any questions :)

It was a gamble, all depends on how much bail-out money I receive. I am only risking all my cutomers' money

I'm just all kinds of excited to get this on.

Some people don't use the auto dimming function for night driving. I believe you see one of those. The red bargraph is just as bright at night. I can still change the bragraph colour for you if you wish. Need to let me know soon.

Richard

The bulb (led) are not easily changeable. It is easier to buy a spare gauge (when available). Gauge is plug and play.
