AMG 55K motor injection point?
Proper newbie here ... howdy!
Plucked up the courage to mod this monster and thinking of putting in a 2D system. The question I have is what will be optimal injection point ? I am looking mainly to reduce peak IAT's and not increase octane. Plan to only use water and no meth. I was thinking one / maybe 2 large injectors just after the blower and just before the I/C ... this is where IAT's are at a max ... is there any disadvantage injecting ahead of the I/C ? The I/C is a air/water unit with a heat exchanger mounted in front of the car... Any thoughts / advice ? Rgds Steve. |
Also .. and this might be for Richard - would I need two pumps or is one OK?
