Do I need a restrictor??

Finally got the system up and running today and did a manual test with the jets installed in the intercooler pipe and there seems to be a LOT of water being sprayed in.
The engine is a Nissan RB30 which is running 6 x 750cc injectors and about 22psi of boost (might wind up to 25psi with water/meth). The car is making about 530hp at the flywheel currently. I plan on running a 50/50 water meth mixture.
I've installed 2 x 1.0mm jets in the intercooler piping post intercooler. Do I also need to fit one of the restrictors which came with the kit?
What I've worked out is:
750 x 6 = 4500
4500 x 20% = 900cc
1 x 1.0mm jet = 450cc @ 140psi (165psi - 25psi boost)

Total of 900cc means I need to fit a 0.9mm restrictor in the FAV??

At 900cc/min, I would leave the restrictor off at this stage so that you don't limit your maximum flow.

Does it run the system flat out when you activate it using the test jumper? Just that there was a fair volume of water sitting in the pipe after a pretty short amount of time(was disconnected from the engine to test the spray). Will the water atomise more with boost pressure running through the system?

The system should run flat put with test jumper.

Please explain the second question, I don't understand it fully.

The boost pressure will break up the spray of water so it doesn't concentrate on the one area so much and make it pool

I see. Under boost conditions, air speed across the nozzle will help dispersing and breakup the droplets.

I'm just looking through the manual again and the flow chart for selecting injector size is different to the one on the Howerton Engineering site. There is a fair amount of varience so I'm a little confused now. Seems like the 2 x 1.0mm jets are way too big. A 0.8mm and 0.9mm combined equal 898cc of flow

one is compensated. It allows system loss. It makes life easier for our users. Use the one from Howerton.
