HFS3 5A fuse blows on power up
 

Richard,
I have a 2011 EVO X MR. I have fuse tapped the 15A cigarette lighter. Every time I place the key in the 1 position the fuse inside the HFS-3 control unit blows. I have inspected the board on the underside opposite ofguage terminal 230 may be blown out. Any thoughts?

It appeared the controller has suffered from a mis-wiring. I have seen this before when one of theb =1" v to the system is wired to ignition coil negative. The only way this can move forward is as following:

1. Return to us for repair. Gauge and Controller for. we don't charge for minor repairs
2. Check your wiring again to avoid the same problem re-occuring
3. Return shipping is ~ $39.00
