new instalation question pump/fav
 

Hi
Ive just instaled a new hfs3 system to an audi tt, with the ignition in the #2 position and the engine not running the pump runs straight away,after the 10 sec period the gauge activates and the fav opens sending water to the jet.
Start the car before the 10 sec period and it apperes to operate correctly ie the fav opens at the 42% time slot and not all the time.
ign on and the engine not running its pumping it out.
ive treble check connections and all appere to be ok.
have i been a dork or have i overlooked something.

I gathered you discovered the wiring issue and have corrected it?

Yes I sorted it, the manual is not clear on how important it is to make sure you us a feed only when the injectors are live.
