Injecting with IDC vs MAP signal

Just wondering if there was any difference using idc or map as the trigger source? Does either have a bigger advantage over the other at all?

I've currently got my HFS3 wired into idc on my Haltech PS2000 and found the system wasn't activating. The system was working fine with the previous EMS ecu. Would there be a difference in idc signal between different ecu's? The alternator was also having issues at the time so I'm unsure if this was contributing.

Which version of H3 do you have?

Re: Injecting with IDC vs MAP signal

It's the HFS-3 V2. The injectors are low impedence if this makes any difference. Everything ran spot on with the old ecu though and I'm seeing the IDC light flashing on the aquamist board.
I'm hoping I can use an output set to extra injector to try and trigger the system. This way I can get away with having it piggybacked onto the actual injector output
