audi exige time for w/m

Hello first post here

Looking for right aquamist setup for my audi 1.8t 20v exige specs are:

1.8 stroke (oem)
550cc bosch@3bar (but using them at 4bar)
sem manifold
hybrid k04
chargecooled
24 psi

Please advise me for right setup (HFS3-v3), from reading various posts i think that one nozzle at the exit of the chargecooler at 0.9 should be ok...or should i go direct port? then which nozzles should i choose...please advice i'm a bit lost

Kind regards
Tasos

You can base the flow on 1.5cc/hp with M50/W50.

Once you know the flow, select the jet size based on the chart below (minus the boost pressure):

Just a question richard... What if you use 100% water vs meth would the chart and flow calculation change?

If you want to be super accurate, the difference in fluid viscosity change due to temperature will affect the flow. The atomisation also changes.

The chart is based on water only in room temperature.

You can also increase the pressure of the pump with a 1/16" allen key at the front of the pump. We recommend to keep it below 200psi or the pump will over heat on a prolonged stint.

Agreed especially if you are using 100% methanol. Methanol has it's boiling of 65degC vs water which is 100degC. When considering flow at room temperature, methanol will flow much more with the same pump pressure and nozzle.

Also to consider, if the car is kept in the sun for a long period of time, in-car air temperature goes about 60DegC making the mix even hotter if exposed to direct sunlight.
