LIGHT TO SHOW PUMP ON
 
i whant to have a light to show pump has come on as on aquamist site but they show using a LED can i use a halfords 12volt warning light

I'd stick to a LED mate, it's bright, small, easy to fit and doesn't burn out.

I'm with JohnA, use a LED.

I used a nice blue one (blue = water :lol: ), next to my boost gauge, so I can see exactly when the boost switch is activated.

yeah, mine is similar :smile:
big blue LED next to the boost gauge. You can see it with the peripheral vision, and also gives you an indication that you've passed that boost threshold

I used a blue LED from farnells with a 1k inline resistor, I think the bulb will draw too much current and could stop the pump working altogether (it`d ground the trigger wire).
