You'd only inject water/meth under boost
Given the airflow numbers involved under those conditions, I would regard as insignificant the quantities of water/methanol likely to be trapped as the throttle is shut.
As for some traces of water mist or methanol being recirculated through the compressor, :lol: you'd be surprised at how much of it is deliberately sprayed straight at the compressor wheels by some of us. :wink:
