HFS-4 Flow Sensor Voltage Output

Can anyone supply additional detail about the yellow wire on the green harness in my HFS-4. Is it an outut voltage that can be data-logged to monitor when and how much water is flowing? Is it proportional to flow, such that 1 volt is about 20% flow and 4 volts is about 80% flow, etc.?
