I have recently purchased an ERL Aquamist system 1S from a friend, he had the system for about a year, he never fitted it in the time he owned it, previous to his ownership another friend had it installed in his calibra turbo with no problems for approx 12months until he sold it.

I now have this system, today i fitted it as per instructions,

Red to permanant live
Black to earth
Purple to ignition

I purchased a remote boost switch from ERL direct with it all on today i turned on the ignition and joined the wires at the Boost switch and nothing happened.

I then wired a live feed to the output side of the relay and the pump makes a thud noise, then i joined the wires at boost switch again - still nothing has happened.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong?
