Default Pump malfunctioning and Nozzle Question

Hi everybody.

I have bought an Aquamist 2D System and installed it on my Mazda 2.2 Turbo.

Although the installation went pretty smooth, i still got some problems left that bother me. I hope i might find some help here.

1st:
Which Nozzle size would be best for : 2.2l engine ~ 18 Psi Boost, injection starting at 10 Psi ?

2nd:
I think something went wrong during the time i used my 2d system. First everything was fine. I have installed everything correctely and my controler was starting to inject at 10 Psi boost.
Yesterday I filled up my watertank and switched on my WI. The engine is not running and my pump is starting its work :shock: . It wont even stop until i have disconnected the fuse. It simply keeps pumping water into my intercooler and wont stop, although my engine is not even running, and the red light at my 2d controler is not turned on. Also the green light for ignition of fuel does not light up. The controler works well if i start the engine, (of course i have disabled the pump by taking out the fuse), green light shows ignition of fuel and at 10 psi and above the red light indicates water is injected (remember, the pump is turned off because it would pump until my tank is empty).
So my problem is: Why is my pump working even if the engine is not turned on and the controler is not connected to 12V power?

Any suggestions?

I would have picked up this post quicker if you post it to the ERL/Aquamist forum.

1st
I would start with 90.7mm nozzle first.

2nd
The pump might be trying to prime up to pressure due to trapped air inside the water line. I don't think it was pumping water into your intercooler. For the system to do that, the red led must be lit.

Try loosing the blanking nut on thr 806-201 manifold to allow trapped air out of your water line. You need to have the engine running to receieve full 13.8-14V. The pump is more efficient at those voltage.

The pump circuit is separate from the FIA2 controller.

i HAVE HAD THE COOLINGMIST.COM PUMP INSTALLED for over a year with no problems. Sorry about the reverse caps. I wasn't yelling. Coolingmist.com also has a new pump that is certified as methanol safe and a new controller. I don't own either, but it looks good.
