Default Manifold pressure switch

I have a devils own pump connected to a Aquamist HSV.

I know the Devils own pump has an internal pressure switch, but as my install is boot mounted i have fitted the MPS closer to the HSV to try and maintain a constant pressure.

I also plan on setting the pump PS slightly higher than the MPS so that i have a little over pressure insurance.

My question is on wiring though, on the Aquamist wiring diagrams i've seen so far you have the MPS connected to ground on 1 side and a third pump input on the other.\
I have wired the MPS with ground one side and the other to the pumps ground input but the pump does not turn on.

How should i connect it?

When you mentioned pump PS, were you referring to the pump's internal pressure switch (~60-100psi). A manifold pressure switch is normally set to 5-10psi.

Hi Richard,

I have no real way of testing the pressure right now.

At the moment i am using only the devils own internal pressure switch.

As an example, if the system is dry, when i turn on my ignition the pump will activate until it's reached it's required pressure, it will then turn off.

When i activate the HSV the flow of water lowers the pressure which again activates the pump.

This system has worked great so far, but i have purchased a Aquamist Single channel manifold, (erl.806-201).

My plan was to fit this close to the HSV, i will then turn up the devils own pump pressure cut off switch so that for normal running the Aquamist manifold will turn the pump on and off depending on the pressure.

Basically i'm wanting a system like the one shown below, but with a Devils own pump.

My problem is though the Devils own pump has only 2 connections so how do i wire up the Aquamist Manifold/pressure switch?

Cheers
Mark
